Simon C. Chartier graduated from the Université de Sherbrooke in 2005 and was called to The Bar of Quebec in 2006. He has focused on criminal and penal law from the beginning of his practice.
After completing his internship at the Crown Prosecution’s Office of the Municipal Court of the City of Montreal, he worked as a prosecutor at the Saint Léonard service outlet. Simon C. Chartier then continued his defence practice by joining the Schneider & Gaggino law firm, where he worked essentially in criminal law. He was also asked to represent individuals in disciplinary law.
In 2011, Simon C. Chartier joined the Trudel Nadeau law firm, where he pursued his career in criminal, penal and disciplinary law before joining Desjardins Côté, where he continues to practise in all judicial districts in Quebec both at trial or on appeal.
He is a member of the Association des avocats de la défense de Montréal (Association of Defence Attorneys of Montreal) and the Association québécoise des avocats et avocates de la défense (Association of Defence Attorneys of Quebec)
